Light, Recommended, and Strong
Light reorganizes and recompresses PDF structures without changing image pixels. Recommended balances image size and quality. Strong targets a smaller result and can reduce image quality more. Results depend on the contents of each PDF, so each level may reduce the file size differently.
Why some PDFs compress more than others
Large lossless images often offer substantial savings. PDFs that already contain optimized JPEG images, mostly vector artwork, or efficiently compressed text may change very little. FilesWorth reports the actual result instead of promising a percentage.

Will compression reduce quality?
Light does not recompress images. Recommended and Strong may recompress eligible images, so Strong can show more change in scans, screenshots, or fine image detail.
Why didn't my PDF get much smaller?
It may already use efficient image and stream compression, or contain mostly text and vector content. In that case there is little redundant data to remove safely.
Can I compress scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned PDFs often become smaller, but Recommended and Strong can soften fine text because each page is usually an image.
Does FilesWorth upload my files to a server?

Can digital signatures be affected?
