FAQ

Merge PDF questions

Does FilesWorth upload my files to a server?

No. Processing happens directly in your browser, and your files stay on your device.

What happens to bookmarks and metadata?

The first PDF keeps its document metadata and bookmarks. Later PDFs add their pages, but their document-level bookmarks aren't imported.

What about digitally signed PDFs?

Merging a digitally signed PDF can invalidate its signature. If FilesWorth detects signs of a signature, it will warn you before continuing. Detection is not infallible.

Are my original files modified?

No. FilesWorth creates a new merged PDF and never overwrites the files you selected.

Can I change the order before merging?

Yes. Drag files, use the keyboard, or use the move buttons to arrange them before merging.
